Dry Soda

Dry Soda

We recently sampled the all-natural line of Dry Sodas. The line includes four gourmet flavors: Lavendar, Kumquat, Lemongrass, and Rhubarb. These refreshing spritzers are good for your health and your waistline, ranging from 50 to 70 calories a bottle. You'll find drink recipes online (we recommend Kumquat and Rhubarb for drink mixes -- the two sweeter sodas). Our universal favorite: Lemongrass which pairs well with nearly everything. The website recommends the soda with Asian-inspired dishes (and we agree), but we equally like its light, crisp, refreshing taste with heavier meals, like pizza.

Recycled Home

Recycled Home

Restoration Home ($29.95), a recent release by Ryland Peters & Small, explores the world of design-duo Mark and Susan Bailey. For over twenty years, the Baileys have been the go-to team for well-designed rustic interiors for clients like Ralph Lauren, Donna Karen and Paul Smith.

Bikini Boot Camp

Bikini Boot Camp

Those three words invoke images of a drill instructor barking orders at a group of women clad only in their two piece to drop in the sand and shell out endless sit ups. Before sunrise. In the pouring rain. But that image couldn't be further from the truth. Bikini Boot Camp is one of the many programs offered at Amansala (translation: "tranquil waters"). This solar-powered resort in Tulum, Mexico is all about massages, Mayan clay treatments, and yes, power exercise classes – but the kind that incorporate stretching, meditation, and yoga.

Haute Chocolate

Haute Chocolate

Eating these mammals could be bittersweet -- their heads served up on sugary plaques -- but perhaps that’s the point behind Walteria Livings’ boxed chocolates ($49.50). Walteria’s set of three vanishing creatures depicts animals that, while once hunted as trophies, are -- today -- being wiped out due to the increased threat of deforestation.
